I’ve always been a smoker; well, for at least for as long as I can remember. I knew that it was bad for my health and the health of my children, but I couldn’t help smoking – it was an addiction. However, I decided it was time to do something about this habit when my daughter became ill and the doctors showed me an X-ray of her lungs. She’s only 10, but because of my smoking she already has dark patches. It was heart-breaking.
I didn’t know what to do; all I knew was that I had to get rid of the smokes once and for all. I knew about smoking patches or chewing gum; but that didn’t seem a viable option – I needed something more substantial. I did research and discovered electronic cigarettes. They seemed perfect, but being the constant cynic I knew I had to do some further research to see if this was for me.
In the end, I learned that e-cigarettes are rather beneficial. They are similar to cigarettes in shape and form, except they don’t have the nicotine and horrible smell. I landed up getting one that tastes like watermelon, and I can actually smoke it inside the house because my children don’t mind it anymore. I’m glad I discovered e-cigs; they’ve changed my life completely!
